Popular Ghanaian rapper Nii Addo Quaynor, better known by his stage name Tinny, has lauded his colleague Shatta Wale as a fighter from bandana days and added that it was not easy for him, but with perseverance, he has reached the level that people can boast about.
He admitted to fighting for Shatta Wale because someone had commented on a Shatta Wale song: “I no get problem.”
I was in my car in Adabraka when a guy came up to me (Tinny) and he said he should see the bandana guy who sing I no get problem, “The guy fool paa, he no get a problem and takes a taxi. ” I got angry and fought with the guy for this comment. Since then Shatta Wale and I have become good friends.
When he spoke to Fiifi Pratt about a joint Afro show about Kingdom Plus, he said that he had done so many things to Shatta Wale that prove his friendship.
Many times in those days when people don’t look at him (Shatta Wale), they think he’s crazy because he’s aggressive about becoming a star. During this time I was with him and I understand him.
The little advice I gave him was enough: “He wouldn’t be like Bob Marley and die before his time, but he’ll be alive and a champion,” he said.
He decided that Shatta Wale is a good and friendly person, adding that he bought six Infinix phones for his six children.
