I DON’T HAVE ANY PROBLEM IF THE COURT’S DECISION IS GENUINE WITH NO BACKDOOR INFLUENCE – ACTRESS COMFORT CODJOE.
Comfort Codjoe is a Ghanaian actress who is currently under the management of Adonai studios headed by Benjamin Nii-Lartey Ayiku popularly known as BNA. She shared her thoughts about Akuapem Poloo and circumstances leading to her imprisonment.
According to the actress, the laws of this Land really works and even though some might seem not relevant they still do work. She said “who said laws don’t work in Ghana? It really does.” With regards to this she said, “we always complain of the laws not working in this country, but, immediately it does we start to criticize”.
The talented actress said she believes the culprit (Akuapem Poloo )did what she did for her family and for her son especially. She also said, she believes strongly the culprit did not think about the consequences of her actions and how it was going to affect the family especially the little boy and that she doubts her colleague actress (culprit) would have carried out this action if she knew.
The actress continued that, it would be rather unfair if the Court’s decisions were being influenced by external forces or an external force. She stated that, she doesn’t have any problem if the court is dealing with her by law.
Mrs Comfort Codjoe has also brought to the notice of Ghanaians that, sometimes unknowingly or indeliberatly children are being treated in certain ways by parents which is against the law. She said,”sometimes we do certain things to our children without knowing it is against the law.”
Ending on her speech, she threw up some advices to parents especially single parents to put the priorities of their children before theirs because parents are the first and main models to their children before they grow up and step out to look for other qualities. She said “parents should first think about their children before they do anything?
