The highlife singer and the 2020 VGMA best New Artiste of the year winner Peter Famiyeh Bozah well-known by his stage name Fameye in an interview with Abeiku Santana disclosed why he stopped going to church.
According to the “mati” hitmaker, he was committed to church until some members of his church frown on his appearance when he dreads his hair and also got his ears pierced.
He added that he was not able to endure the criticism by his church members, he chooses to stop church completely.
“I’ve stopped going to church I used to be a committed churchgoer but after changing my hairstyle to locks and pierced my ears, I got criticised criticized women in my church,” he said.
Fameye continues to add that, he didn’t see the reason why some members should criticize his hairdo whiles he believes Christianity lives in one’s heart.
He father reveal that he participate in the church activities such as prayer session once a while but no going to church as usual.
“So, I thought that Christianity is in the heart. So, I stopped attending church. Once in a while, I attend prayer sessions, but I don’t commit myself to regular services anymore,” he Established.
