Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as the Bullet, has appeared on his IG page to seek justice over alleged copyright problems he has suffered under Akhan’s brother.
According to him, he was cheated and treated unfairly, although he was approached by his former partners for using a Bullet-produced song in a movie.
According to the post, a film to be made in 2015 should include a soundtrack from Bullet’s warehouse.
Bullet recently found that the film had been released and her song had been used, but no agreement was reached and no money was paid to him.
The manager and owner of a RuffTown Records label therefore used social media to expose the perpetrators of such a step and called for support so that the right thing was done and the recognition was properly granted.
Excerpts from the article read: “In 2015 Theophilus Baah, a brother of my former partner Akhan, who happened to be the manager of my late group Ruff n Smooth, consisting of myself and Ahkan, informed me about a film company in America that did so showed interest to use our song as film music. To make my story short, I just found out that the film was out and our song was used without my permission, without seeing a legal contract, and a huge amount of money being taken from my former partner’s brother. ”
