The District Assembly, had once again failed in electing a Presiding Member for the District after the election ended without any of the competitors attaining two-third of the total vote.
The District Assembly is currently without a Presiding Member which is believed to be a stamping block to development in the District for the past one year.
Speaking at the programme, Nana Tutu pleaded with the Assembly Members to make a quick decision on who should Preside over the Assembly for other developmental projects to kick start.
“Consider the electorates who voted for you and do the needful. Whatever it is you need, let the executives know so that we can be sorted out. The delay in electing a Presiding Member is causing delay in our development” he said.
